SUBSTANCES TOXIC TO CATS
Keep ALL
hazardous substances (as listed below) out of reach of your cat in
exactly the same way you would for a baby or little child. Some
Materials are obviously toxic, and others may not be so obvious. Some of
these substances can come into contact with the Cat's fur, in which case
the cat will start to lick. As soon as you see your cat has licked,
eaten, or drunk a toxic substance or If you suspect that your Cat has
come into contact with a toxic substance do not hesitate, don't wait
for symptoms to appear - seek Immediate medical attention, contact
your Local Veterinary Surgery and where possible take a sample of the
Toxic material you think your Cat has come into contact with.
Symptoms of poisoning will range from seizures and foaming at the
mouth to vomiting and coma. Make sure you keep to hand your local
Veterinary Emergency Number.
