SPONSORING

PLEASE CONSIDER SPONSORING ONE OF OUR PENS/ENVIRONMENTS FOR LONG TERM CATS

As you know we believe that all cats have a right to life, consequently we have a few  cats  in our care that are unlikely ever to be re-homed, either due to illness, disability, temperament    (they who  must be obeyed type) or age. Of course if the right home came along we would be delighted to re-home any cat. In view if this we run a sponsorship scheme for these cats, during the day these cats have the freedom to roam around their foster homes. The Branch pays for their food, litter and veterinary bills out of the money you donate, of course we still have to use branch funds to ensure they have everything they need to keep them happy and well. You can either sponsor a particular pen or donate to the General Sponsor Fund, enabling your donation to be used for the benefit of any of the sponsor cats.

Under the sponsorship scheme, sponsors pay a set each week, month, quarter, annual amount or one off payment.    In return you get a picture of cats that have spent time   in the pen   (except farm cats who spend there days running around the fields) until the purrfect home is found. Sponsors may be individuals, groups, clubs, schools or companies. and twice a year a  copy of   our local newsletter,

Why not give that special someone a purrfect present; sponsorship   makes an ideal present for a friend or child. Birthdays, Christmas or simply a token of friendship.

If you want to help, but you don't have the time to volunteer, and can't adopt a cat, then this is the scheme for you.

If you are interested in Sponsorship please e-mail Elaine or contact Christine 01246 559186 Or in the case of Jazz, Elaine 01246 270056

ZIG ALIAS BRINDLEY LEG (sadly Zag died) came into care when his owners moved and left him outside with his very pregnant  mum. He is very timid and will never be chosen as whenever anyone visits the house he disappears. There is only one place in the house where I sit that he will ever come anywhere near me, I am sure many of you will guess where that is.

TEDDY: came into care after her previous owner left  outside with her very pregnant mother. She is very timid and will never be chosen,  as whenever anyone visits the house she disappears. However, when I  am in bed she seems to act in a completely different manner she loves a fuss in fact she just won’t leave me alone. No one will ever see her like this though as who would want to see me in my nightie.

HOPE: found in an appalling condition  after travelling from Taiwan  for  6 in a sealed container, it took her many weeks  To  win  her  battle  for  life.  Hope  has an opaque eye and malformed foot and is a feral. In view of this she will spend  her life on her foster mums farm.
