SATURDAY 9.30 am 3.00 pm

OPEN MOST DAYS 9.30, OCCASIONALLY AS EARLY AS 9, BUT SOME DAYS
AS LATE AS 10 AM.
WE CLOSE ABOUT 3.30, OCCASIONALLY ABOUT 3 OR 3.15, SOMETIMES AS
EARLY AS 2.30 IF WE HAVE SOMETHING BETTER TO DO
OPEN SOME FRIDAYS, CLOSED OTHERS.

WE MIGHT CLOSE MON WED, THURS TOO IF SOMETHING GOOD COMES UP.
NOT CLOSED AT LUNCHTIMES UNLESS WE GO FOR A SANDWICH & A COFFEE
OR MAY BE A CAKE TOO.
WE ARE HERE JUST ABOUT ALL THE TIME UNLESS WE ARE SOMEWHERE ELSE

AS A CHARITY WE RECEIVE NO
GRANTS SO ALL OF OUR EXPENSES ARE MET BY DONATIONS AND
FUNDRAISING, WE ARE IN DESPERATE NEED OF:-
Good quality bric a brac, (no chips or cracks please), unwanted
gifts, bottles (full)
New unopened toiletries; jewellery; books; clean toys & games
(we cannot sell games with bits missing) also we are only
allowed to sell soft toys with the CE mark; craft & handmade
items, records/cds/cassettes; tins/sachets of cat food and
unused stamps always appreciated;
Good quality (not well worn buttons/zips removed or torn please)
clean clothing. Blankets, jumpers, towels etc that are
only suitable for cat bedding please separate from good items
needed for shop
PLEASE
DONT LEAVE DONATED GOODS ON THE DOORSTEP. BY THE TIME WE OPEN
THE
SHOP
MANY HAVE BEEN STOLEN OR RUINED, WHILST YOU KINDNESS IS
APPRECIATED, OUR VOLUNTEERS DO NOT APPRECIATE OPENING BAGS/BOXES
THAT HAVE BEEN URINATED OR VOMITED ON.
Also desperately
needed are volunteers
to help run the shop, ideally volunteers are needed to
work a regular 3 hour shift 9.30 am - 12.30 pm or 12.30 pm -
3.30 pm however, a few hours if only occasionally would be an
enormous help. Work might entail either working directly with
customers or behind the scenes sorting donations, steaming etc.
Volunteers find the work both enjoyable and satisfying knowing
that all profit made will go towards our vital cat rescue work
and that YOUR time could help us save a cats life. Please

(during shop hours only) alternatively please ring Elaine after
6.pm or send an e-mail at any time. This will enable the
fosterers who are helping to run the shop due to lack of
volunteers, care for the cats once again full time and perhaps
save a cats life that may be in danger if we do not have the
time.
ELECTRICAL GOODS
We are unable to sell
the donated electrical goods, as they need to be tested by
a qualified electrician first. Obviously the cost of that would
take away any profit, in view of this is there anyone one who is
a qualified electrician who would volunteer to do this for us.
